About me
Josh Shepard has served as the CTO for the School District of Oconee County since April 2016. Previously, Josh served as a teacher, instructional technology coordinator, and in countless community roles outside of the education field. Josh enjoys helping teachers integrate meaningful technology experiences into their classroom. He specializes in connecting technology with core curriculum components to focus on individualized student learning.
After spending countless days in the car line as an elementary school teacher, Josh came up with the idea for simpldismissal; a way to make afternoon dismissal less chaotic and stressful for students and teachers. The program now helps dismiss thousands of students across the nation each day.
